Repository of Psychology Graduate School Application Resources

I served as the Undergraduate Outreach Committee Co-Chair of UCLA’s Underrepresented Graduate Students in Psychology (UGSP) organization for four years. Through this role, I organized and led quarterly professional development events for minoritized undergraduate students – including an annual research assistant recruitment fair connecting students to labs with open research opportunities – and workshops on topics such as finding research opportunities at UCLA, developing a curriculum vitae, and applying to post-baccalaureate positions and psychology graduate programs. Held remotely for accessibility, these workshops attracted the live attendance of up to 250 students and registration for up to 400 students, who received workshop resources regardless of attendance. I also crowdsourced the Repository of Psychology Graduate School Application Resources for unearthing the hidden curriculum of applying to graduate school and managed an undergraduate email listserv funneling opportunities for jobs, research positions, scholarships, and basic needs to over 600 minoritized undergraduate students.
